Maintaining proper understanding of insurance payors to include what is needed to credential a provider, and the time frame to complete the credentialing process.  Serves as the main contact between clinic and payors on credentialing issues.

Position Responsibilities;

• Assist with credentialing MD’s, Fellows, PA’s, PT/OT’s with privileges at all facilities.
• Responsible for assisting with assigned HCO credentialing files.
• Investigates credentialing denials and makes appropriate recommendations to correct.
• Responsible for maintaining paper and electronic physician/provider credentialing files to include scanning.
• Maintains credentialing and re-credentialing for current physicians/providers with appropriate payors.
• Other duties as assigned my Management.

Experience: Minimum one year credentialing experience in large medical clinic setting or in payor setting.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Special Qualifications: Must be able to work independently.  Must be able to prioritize tasks. Experience with ECHO OneApp
